 School Foodservice

Eating school meals is a proven way to boost students' immediate health and nutrition needs while establishing positive eating habits for life. Health and nutrition claims alone won't lead students to the cafeteria. As with adults, taste continues to be the main consideration. Many student favorites such as pizza, tacos and macaroni and cheese already feature cheese. Serving tasty, cheesy favorites with fresh, cold milk is a can't-miss combination that will keep students coming back for more. As participation increases, so will your bottom line.


 Teachers

Talking about dairy products and good nutrition in the classroom teaches the students an important life skill. What the students eat (and don't eat) can affect their health now and in the future. Eating a healthy diet also helps the students learn and focus their attention at school. Teaching about nutrition and the importance of calcium in the diet does not have to be an additional topic to pack in to the crowded school day.
